Greenwich Cocktail Party
The Connecticut Farmland Trust spread the word about farmland preservation to over 50 guests at the Bush-Holley House Barn at the Greenwich Historical Society on November 10, 2011. Co-hosted by Dana McAvity, Susan Lockwood, Darrell Lorentzen, Patty Miller, and Gillian Steel, the event featured wonderful food sourced from local Connecticut farms. Jonathan Edwards Winery Culinary ShowDown
On Sunday, May 15th at Jonathan Edwards Winery in Stonington, five of the best restaurants in CT and five from RI each prepared a small signature dish for attendees highlighting produce from a local farm in their state. CFT will receive $1,000 if one of the CT restaurants takes first prize and $500 for second prize!

11th Annual Celebration of Connecticut Farms
The 11th Annual Celebration of Connecticut Farms took place on Sunday, September 11 at Jones Family Farms in Shelton, CT. Returning as honorary chairpersons of the Celebration are Tony Award winning actress Christine Baranski, WNPR's Two Time Peabody Award winner Faith Middleton, and celebrity TV chef and author Jacques Pépin.
